3 hour Course on Infectious Disease In Phlebotomy and a  3 hour Course on Hand Washing—The Proper Technique. This course is taught by Nieto Baluyut, M.D.  Dr. Baluyut has 10 years experience as an instructor at Los Medanos College, Health Career College and as a Licensed Phlebotomist.

Guidelines from the Center for Disease Control in the transmission of infectious disease and guidelines  indicating that proper hand washing is the most effective way to stop nosocomial infection in a clinical setting.  Course includes certificate and handouts.

Learning Objectives:  Understand the transmission of infectious disease.  Understand the proper technique for proper hand washing.  Understand the CDC guidelines for infection control
